Repeat

I bumped into my friend’s father last week and they asked me to join them since I was dining at the same place.

As I took my seat, uncle asked me a few questions and somehow or rather we talked about Malaysia’s current generation.

To illustrate his points, he told me his story:

I went for hajj few years back and then I asked my friend yg pergi sekali tu

‘Kenapa kita kena sembahyang 5 times a day’

My friend said ‘Hey kau ni ada tanya soalan mcm tu. We are in the holy land!’

Uncle responded ‘I don’t think Allah will penalize me for being curious. Maybe I am ignorant la kan but He will always guide us to find the right answer apa.”

My friend said ‘Ok la, the only answer I can think of is it’s our duty as a Muslim as He is our creator’

Feeling unsatisfied with my friend’s answer, I prayed and all I ever thought was my question that I have unanswered. I remained focused in my prayers with that question in mind and I managed to touch Ka’abah and asked Allah the same question.

That night, I dream byk sangat benda but those things are repetitive. Same scene but repeated. The next day, I the word “repeat” was stuck in my head.

It’s been like that for few days.

At last, I heard a father telling his Son. “If you can’t find the answer you are looking for.. pray again. When you repeat InsyaAllah Allah will guide you to your answer”

Then I was absolute God has answered my question.

So basically, if you want something focus, concentrate and repeat. Besides our duty as a Muslim, Allah is forgiving and merciful. Allah will guide us to all our unanswered questions and queries. Besides our obligations as a Muslim, praying five times a day and repeating every day will always guide you for whatever you prayed for at that time.

All in all, just like my example. I think budak-budak these days should put it in mind. If you want something focus, concentrate and repeat. InsyaAllah they will achieve whatever they are looking for.

After I went back, I thought “Simple questions, simple answers, singnificant story” .

At times we throw looks at those who asked this sort of question.
At times the answer is simple but unsatisfactory.

The question is simple but taboo to people in general.
Allah will always have the answer even for the simplest and taboo question.

If I were to count the look I get or the statements being thrown at me. All I could think of is this story. For that story I have Uncle to thank for. 
